Mo Salah etches his name into the history books as Liverpool fight Manchester United to a 2-2 draw.
Mo Salah did not play up to his standards against Manchester United. The Egyptian forward created a ton and was clinical with his penalty. However, let go of some solid chances to win the game for Liverpool but thanks to his penalty the Reds were able to get one point.
Salah also entered the history books with his penalty against Manchester United. After his penalty he became the first playing in history to score in four consecutive game against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
As reported by Squawka he also holds the record for the most Premier League goals against the Red Devils and the most Premier League goals against United at Old Trafford. Salah has been surgical against the Old Trafford squad for quite some time now.
Even Jurgen Klopp wasn’t too hard on his strikers tonight. He said the same strikers that missed chances tonight are the ones who helped the team get to 71 points in the first play. The German coach knows of his player’s quality and expects them to bounce back.
With eight games remaining in the season the Reds are behind Arsenal trailing only due to GD. The race will now be influenced by the Gunners. If Mikel Arteta is able to pull off a string of perfect games to close the season Liverpool will lose the race.
The Reds have been in a dominant position for most of the season. However, their carelessness and silly mistakes have caught up to them. Hopefully, Arsenal will show a clink in their armor and Liverpool will be able to make the most of it.
