Liverpool is ready to sign African star Mohammed Kudus should Mohamed Salah leave the Reds amid tempting offers for him
According to recent reports, Liverpool have identified Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah this summer.
Recent rumors imply that Mohamed Salah has “already agreed to leave” Liverpool, meaning the Egyptian player may not be returning this summer.
Salah’s contract is nearing its expiration, which has raised concerns over his future even after Liverpool turned down a £150 million offer for him last summer. With continuous interest from Al-Ittihad, Salah may decide to leave Anfield in pursuit of a fresh challenge, particularly with Jurgen Klopp‘s exit coming up soon.
Kudus as Mo Salah’s replacement
Mohammed Kudus of West Ham is under consideration as a potential replacement for Liverpool, given the likelihood of Salah’s leaving. Due to his flexibility and ability to play on the left flank, where Salah often plays, Kudus might be the perfect Salah alternative.
In his debut season in the Premier League, the 23-year-old Ghanaian has excelled, netting 13 goals and dishing out four assists since joining the London club for £38 million from Ajax last summer.
Liverpool has made finding a new winger a top priority due to impending changes at Anfield, and Kudus seems like a potential choice for the team’s future.
Kudus is under contract with West Ham through 2028, with an option for an additional year. Should the new Reds recruiting squad want to submit an offer, a transfer to Anfield won’t be inexpensive.

In addition to providing Salah’s immediate replacement, Kudus’ potential arrival at Liverpool would present an intriguing opportunity for the Anfield squad. But should Salah’s exit materialize, Liverpool may look into other names in the market. Kudus is not the only name being considered.
