One player that will probably be on every Liverpool fan’s mind this summer is Mario Gotze. The Reds are believed to be seriously pursuing the unsettled player and if everything goes well he will become a regular at Anfield.
Now as per Bild, a German outlet, the player’s initial price was thought to be around £43 million but since he has fallen down the pecking order at Bayern Munich his price has dropped as well. His current valuation is £27m that is almost half the price of the original.
This will come as a major news for Liverpool as the Reds are expected to receive in the range of £100 million in their transfer kitty for summer and Gotze can be easily afforded. While the Bayern chief Rummenigge has tried to play down all the news as rumor the reduction in price is a clear indication of the selling intent of the Bavarian club.
