Liverpool are in a state of limbo with the case that is Mario Balotelli. The Italian striker moved to Anfield last season and did not manage to impress anyone.
As a result, the player was loaned out to AC Milan and the Milanese club is not too keen to keep him permanently either.
Currently, Milan are paying £70,000 of his £90,000 weekly wage but if he is returned to Liverpool at the end of the season then the club may have to pay his wage in full. AC Milan has given him conditions to fulfill upon which they will sign him permanently but we would not hold our breath for that.
Given the player’s attitude and form the Reds will definitely find it difficult to sell him to other clubs on a permanent deal. This means that even if they can the club may have to bear the wage loss and pay him a compensation package to let him go.
However as per the reports from the Mail, Liverpool are willing to do it.
