Leicester City youngster Ben Chilwell has gathered some momentum in the “interest from bigger clubs” department. The 19 year old left-back is valued at £5 million by Leicester and Klopp is serious in bringing him to Anfield in the summer.
The player is a product of Leicester City academy and has represented England at U18, U19 and U20 level. He has made only two starts this year but is seen as one the League’s prominent rising stars.
Liverpool, however is not the only club vying for his signature. Arsenal are also interested in the player and Arsene Wenger, who has the reputation of developing youngster, could cause complication in Liverpool’s chase for Chilwell. If signed, he could be a major contribution for Liverpool in the future however Claudio Ranieri is keen to hold on to the player with such potential. Liverpool should try to finalize the deal before Arsenal can react.
