Predicted Liverpool’s Line Up To Start Against Chelsea – Toure To Partner Up With Lovren

The Reds host Chelsea for their penultimate game of the season as Jurgen Klopp hopes for a top six finish for the season. Liverpool have been phenomenal at Anfield in their last few games and Klopp will be hoping to get all three points from the game. Here is a look at the predicted lineup for the big game.

Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet

The Belgian goalkeeper has been the number one choice for Klopp this season and he had a good game against Watford. Klopp will be hoping that his form continues in the remaining games as well.

Defence: Clyne, Lovren, Toure, Moreno

Clyne has had a fantastic first season with Liverpool and he being the first choice right back should start this game. Lovren and Toure should partner at the back for the Reds for this big game. Moreno has shown glimpses of good form and he should start at the left back. In the absence of Sakho, Toure has come to the rescue for Klopp and Liverpool as Skrtel has not been in the best of his form. Lovren’s partnership with Toure has been better than the one he had with Skrtel. There is a proper rhythm to their chemistry and the defensive understanding is clearly visible.

Midfield: Can, Milner

Emre Can has been outstanding for the Reds in the defensive midfield position and he will be the key man in this one to battle against the Chelsea midfield against the likes of Matic and Fabregas. James Milner has been the man to deliver the work rate for Liverpool as he tirelessly runs around the park. He should partner up with Can in the midfield and start at the central position.

Attacking midfield: Lallana, Firmino, Coutinho

Liverpool have relied on the combination of  their LFC for key fixtures and the trio has been instrumental in this campaign for the Reds. They have been the first choice for Jurgen Klopp whenever he decides to play the 4-2-3-1 and this trio provides a lot of attacking flair to the team. Between the three of them they have more assists and goals than most of the players of Liverpool and it is this exact reason why Klopp should go ahead with them.

Striker: Daniel Sturridge

Sturridge should start this one considering the magnitude and the importance of the game. He has regained his lost form and has played exceptionally well in the last few games. If he manages to hit the target early, the momentum might be in the favor of the Reds from the beginning.
