Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is set to leave the Reds this summer after having spent only a year at the Anfield.
Benteke joined Anfield only last summer in a deal worth £32.5m; however the player has turned more into disappointment than anything else for the Reds. It is believed that the Reds need a more dynamic player and Benteke is considered to be far from dynamic.
The player is set to leave the Anfield after a year in the Reds and agent has addressed the rumours linking him to Italian clubs.
He said:
“Interest from Italy? There are only rumours, but there was some contacts with Serie A clubs six months ago. Now, however, there is nothing. He is currently a player of Liverpool, we will analyse the situation later,” he told TMW.
The Belgian star has also been linked to Chelsea by the English media recently, and Kismet feels it’s only obvious for a player of his quality.
Kismet added: “If there have been contacts with Chelsea and Arsenal? Many clubs want the player, it’s obvious. But he is now only thinking to do well in the European Championship. He wants to win the competition with Belgium. We’ll think about his future later.”
Further, the player has also been linked with a move to Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Arsenal stating that either of the clubs are interested in signing the player.
The player is set to leave the Reds after scoring 10 goals and 6 assists for the Reds last season. The player will be a success if he joins a club whose game plans compliment his strength.
