Liverpool have so far completed the signing of four new players into the squad, namely Sadio Mane, Joel Matip, Loris Karius and Marko Gurijic and the Reds are still looking out to bring more players into the squad this summer.
Liverpool are strongly linked with Newcastle midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum and the move is expected to be completed within 48 hours. According to Sky Sports, Liverpool have agreed a deal in the region of £25m with Newcastle United for midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
The midfielder joined Newcastle in a £14.5m switch from PSV Eindhoven last summer but was unable to prevent their relegation from the Premier League. Liverpool have offered Wijnaldum a five-year deal with the 25-year-old making his last appearance for Newcastle in their 2-2 draw with Doncaster Rovers on Wednesday night.
The Reds goalkeeper Adam Bogdan has joined Wigan Athletic on loan. The player has made record errors for the Reds and hence has struggled during his time at the Anfield and further the arrival of Loris Karius has pushed him further below in the pecking order. In addition to the fact that the German manager does not have the player in his plans for the next season, has sealed the player’s move out of the Reds.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper made six first-team appearances for Liverpool last season, including two in the Premier League, following his free transfer from Bolton Wanderers 12 months ago.
