Should Liverpool Allow This Promising Attacker To La Liga If They Receive A Right Bid

So here it is! Liverpool have finally completed the signing of Ragnar Klavan from the German side Augsburg on an undisclosed fee. Well, everyone saw that coming, but what makes this signing so special is Klavan’s versatility to play on the left flank as well. The 30-year-old Estonian international has been brought to the squad to fill the void of Marin Skrtel and Kolo Toure.

Well, it is understood that Liverpool’s defender Mamadou Sakho and Jose Gomez will miss the start of the next season due to their respective injuries; hence, it is safe to say that Klavan’s arrival at the Anfield has been justified properly. The 30-year-old defender, who previously played as a midfielder, became Jurgen Klopp’s fifth signing, following the arrival of Marko Grujic, Joel Matip, Loris Karius and Sadio Mane.

Now, talking about departures, then Liverpool have already sold Jordan Rossiter, Jerome Sinclair, Joao Teixeira, Jordan Ibe, Sergio Canos and if the reports are to believed then the Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are now preparing to land Liverpool’s highly rated striker Divock Origi.

Divock Origi, who joined Liverpool back in the summer of 2014, has shown a great improvement since Klopp has arrived at the Anfield. Origi made 33 appearances last season for the Reds in all competition and managed to score 10 goals. The 21-year-old was one of the standout performers for Liverpool when they humiliated Borussia Dortmund last season.

Now, as Atletico Madrid are going to contact the player, should Liverpool allow Origi to leave?

Well, that would be a big NO! Origi has just started to gain a very fine momentum under Klopp and the manager himself admires Origi a lot. The fact that Liverpool do not have many strikers to play with is the first and utmost reason why they should keep hold on to the player at any cost. Well, they do have a number of strikers, but given the fact that Mario Balotelli has been allowed to leave and Christian Benteke is on the verge to follow him is the enough reason.

The 21-year-old has become a fan favourite in no time and allowing him to leave, even on loan would be the most stupidest thing for the club. Yes, this is obvious that he won’t be getting a first team spot ahead of Daniel Sturridge at Liverpool, but he won’t be getting the same at Vicente Calderon, thanks to the brilliance of Antoine Greizmann.

It is fair to say that Origi is the future of the club and at just 21, he has shown us the glimpse of his wonderful techniques. The player is fast, tricky and surely a threat for most of the defences. He had a difficult start to his Premier League career, but soon after Klopp came up, Origi’s career revived, and the boy is starting to make a name for himself.

There is no doubt that Origi still is an unfinished business, but he will get that cutting edge while working under Klopp. Atletico can surely give him the Champions League football and that to be honest, is an advantage, but as I said earlier, he has just started to gain the moment, transferring him to Spain means he will have to start everything from the beginning.
