Has Kloop Covered All The Loop-holes In The Liverpool Line Up Finally?

Players coming in, players moving out, transfer speculations, new main stand, new coaching staff – all this and much more is going on this summer and Jurgen Klopp has been the man at the center of everything. Since his arrival at Anfield there have been a lot of things said about how he has brought a change in the atmosphere and how the Kopites are relying on his services to bring back the glory days at Anfield.

The first summer transfer window under Klopp is his big chance to make necessary changes as per his vision and to make a mark as a manager. Liverpool had an improved second half of the last season, but the ending came as a despair as the Reds failed to qualify for European football and also couldn’t manage to get their hands on two possible trophies. All that is past and now the only choice is to look forward and hope for better things. Considering where the team left off at the last season, there were a lot of aspects which needed improvement. Let’s take a look at how much of that is done so far.

Liverpool were in need to get some fresh pair of legs, especially in attack. Jurgen Klopp has managed to bring midfielders with attacking abilities and who are quick on the ball. The signing of Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum is a major boost to the side as both these players bring pace and attacking flair in the midfield.

The Reds have also acquired the services of Marko Grujic who is looking in good shape in the pre-season fixtures and can turn out to be a valuable asset in midfield. Klopp has also made a few changes in the staff so as to improve the fitness aspect of the team. Liverpool faced a lot of injury woes last season and to improve upon that was definitely on the priority list of the boss.

Having said all of that, Jurgen Klopp still needs to address a few concerns, and the primary one being; signing a quality left-back. With the contract renewal of Ben Chilwell at Leicester coming as a blow, Klopp must start considering his options for the role. Also, there is no offer yet for Balotelli and Benteke and their departure could mean an addition to the transfer budget. Klopp must try and get an offer for both the strikers and if possible use that money to get a new striker on board.
