Major Shock! Liverpool’s Long Term Target Joins Serie A Club Instead

Liverpool had been on the lookout for Piotr Zielinski through the summer however the Red did not manage to secure the player’s move to the Anfield instead Zielinski will be heading to Napoli this summer

as the latter confirmed the player’s move to the club from Udinese.

The Italian club secured the player’s services as the Merseysiders turned onlookers on the deal.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio at the end of June had claimed that Zielinski is set to complete medical at the Anfield, following the elimination of his team during the Euro 2016.

However the Reds failed to secure the player’s move, being unable to finalize the terms with the player’s club meanwhile Napoli stole the deal to sign the player.

According to the reports from the Sky Sports, Napoli will be paying £8.5m for the player’s move to the club although Liverpool’s higher bid of £11.75m was rejected by the club.
