Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic has completed his move to Sporting Lisbon on a season-long loan deal.
Having signed most of the players early on Liverpool spent the last days of the Summer Transfer window trying to send off players whom they deemed to be surplus to requirement.
Long time Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli has moved to Nice permanently, the Reds will sign with relief of that one.
Markovic followed Balotelli out the door, however, he is only gone on a temporary basis and will be back from Portugal once his loan period at Sporting is over. The Merseyside club released details of the 22-year-old’s exit on their official website late on Wednesday. The player spent last season on loan at Turkish side Fenerbahce and the loan move at Sporting is his second successive move out on loan from the reds.
Sporting has also signed Arsenal’s Joel Campbell on loan this summer. Campbell will be their second loan signee from the Premier league.
