Wow! Liverpool Manager Names His Best Player In The Training

Liverpool are currently enjoying a top form in the league and their recent 5-1 victory over the newly promoted side Hull City solely supports their cause.

Speaking in a post-match media conference, the manager – Jurgen Klopp – revealed the name of the player who has impressed him the most in training.

Alberto Moreno, yes, Alberto Moreno has been the player, who has impressed the German in first-team training despite being out-of-favour earlier this season. The former Sevilla man hasn’t started a game for the Reds since his erratic performance in Liverpool’s 4-3 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in their opening Premier League game of the 2016/17 season.

Since then, the manager has been using the versatile Englishman James Milner on the spot, and he has scored three goals in the number of appearances to date.

Speaking in the conference, Klopp said:

“To be honest, one of the best players in training in the last few weeks has been Alberto Moreno,” Klopp said.

“He took the situation brilliantly and is in a really good moment. I don’t want to have too much pressure because I want the players all confident, but that’s the kind of pressure we need to make on all positions. In each training [session], we have to perform.”

Liverpool have won their last three Premier League games thanks to victories over Leicester City, Chelsea and Hull.
