Liverpool To Battle La Liga Giants For Exciting Spanish Forward

#

Liverpool have been linked with a number of players recently as they look to bring in cover for their forwards. One youngster who seems to be a target for the Reds is Valencia’s Fran Navarro, and Jurgen Klopp hopes the Spanish player will be another great signing for the future, according to the Spanish outlet Superdeporte.

The Reds will not have the services of Sadio Mane in the New Year as he would be leaving on African Cup of Nations duty. The Merseyside club would also be without Danny Ings as he picked up a season ending injury and Philippe Coutinho is also doubtful to make a quick return to the side, hence the side does need a lot of cover.

Navarro is 18 years old at the moment and has already scored for the Spanish U17 side twice but he does have a lot of time to develop for the second-placed side in the Premier League. Liverpool have been the top scorers in the top division and Navarro could be a decent signing for the German manager at the club.

More youngsters are the solution for Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has provided a lot of faith in the youth system at Liverpool. The German manager recently gave a debut to Ben Woodburn, who became the youngest player in Liverpool history to score a goal.

The Welshman scored the second goal in Liverpool’s win over Leeds United in the EFL Cup and there is a chance he would be on the bench against Bournemouth as well in the Premier League. Navarro would certainly be tempted to join the Reds as many others have gotten a lot of playing time in the first team.

Kevin Stewart has become a squad member for the Reds and even the likes of Ovie Ejaria and Sheyi Ojo are given minutes, though Ojo is still recuperating from an injury sustained in preseason.

The Merseyside club do have a number of other players coming in through the ranks and the Valencia forward, Navarro, will find competition tough. The Spanish striker would have some great coaches to work with at Anfield and it could be a great move for his future and development.

Liverpool seems to have cracked the riddle to bring out more quality youngsters and a lot of credit has to be given to the backroom staff. The Reds are looking at the future and Navarro could be another gem they sign next season.
