Liverpool’s Sam Hart has cut short his loan deal at Port Vale and the youngster has returned to his parent club on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old was sent to the League One side to gain some experience and he had become somewhat of a regular as he made 16 appearances for the club and even scored one goal during this spell.

Hart was recalled by the Reds and Port Vale shared the news on their Twitter handle and this certainly has raised a few eyebrows regarding the future of the 20-year-old.

Klopp might be looking to bring in more quality in their defence or even have a proper left-back in the side as James Milner has had to deputise as a make shift defender. The Englishman has done a great job, to be honest, but Liverpool cannot rely only on the former Manchester City man and Hart could get his chances in a few games this season.

Hart’s move to Liverpool could be the end of Alberto Moreno and with half a season left, the youngster might have a few chances to star for the Reds. Jurgen Klopp is known for giving young players a chance and Hart could be looking to impress the German manager.

The youngster did play for the Reds in the preseason games and he faced Mainz and certainly impressed a few. Reports suggest that Hart is an attack minded left-back and that would only mean good news for Liverpool who have played an aggressive kind of football which is highly reliant on counter-attack and speed.

The 20-year-old can play as either a left-back or a left midfielder but it is in defence that he would be used this season. The player could also be brought to give some competition to Joe Gomez, who also played as a left-back last season before injury got the better of him.

The former Charlton man did play in the recent FA Cup game against Plymouth and Hart could be looking to play in the replay away from Anfield. Liverpool have unearthed some great talents over the years and hopefully they can continue doing the same when it comes to Hart.

Liverpool have a tough run coming up in the next few weeks and it wouldn’t be a surprise seeing Hart actually even feature on the bench against Manchester United or even Chelsea. These games could decide if the Reds fight for the title or for a place in Europe and who knows, Hart could be playing a huge role in this run.
