Sam Allardyce Keen To Raid Liverpool For £20m Frenchman To Join Crystal Palace

The Daily Mail reports that Crystal Palace are tracking the availability of Liverpool centre-back Mamadou Sakho. The Frenchman is forced into the category of misfits by Jurgen Klopp since the pair had a couple of misunderstanding moments during the pre-season.

The Eagles finally claimed their first victory under new boss Sam Allardyce on Tuesday evening as a brace from Christian Benteke helped them see off Bolton Wanderers 2-1 in the FA Cup. Big Sam is looking to build on the win with a number of new faces.

At the age of 26, the PSG academy product has immense experience across Europe which would be vital for a hapless backline like Palace currently own.
