Respected Spanish Journalist Updates On The Latest About Barcelona’s Interest In Klopp

Barcelona are reportedly planning to replace Luis Enrique at the end of the season, as the team has performed below expectations this season in the league and in the Champions League. A 4-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain has left the Catalan club searching for answers and the answer apparently seems to be the manager’s sacking.

According to Guillem Balague of Sky Sports

, Barca are putting plans in place for Enrique’s successor and certainly, Jurgen Klopp isn’t the man who would succeed the Spaniard.

When asked if there was any truth in Barcelona being interested in replacing Enrique with Klopp, he answered,

“Barcelona have no interest in Klopp or Wenger. As far as Klopp is concerned, it is not because he isn’t good – he quite clearly is – but rather because there is no way they could ever coax him away from Liverpool. Wenger, meanwhile does not figure in their plans.”

This suggests that Klopp’s words about a long-term plan might be true after all, with the club planning to spend in the summer, to add some depth and quality to their squad. The fact that Liverpool are moving their first team training base to Kirkby also suggests

that Klopp is being valued at Liverpool and the club are planning for their long-term future, after some unsuccessful years in the recent past.
Klopp is tranforming Liverpool into title contenders again.

Klopp has managed 86 games for Liverpool so far and has won 42, drawn 25 and lost 19. Despite a win percentage of 48.8, it is the German’s attitude and the way he has held the team together is what that has caught the eye. Liverpool have been a spirited side since Jurgen’s appointment last season and that is evident in the team’s performance on the pitch and the behavior off the pitch.

It will come as a great news for Liverpool fans that their beloved manager might stay at the club on the longer run and might possibly oversee an overhaul at Anfield, not only on the pitch but also off the field as well.
