“Swap coutinho with rakitic”: Liverpool Fans React To Coutinho’s Rumoured Exit To Barcelona

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho was linked with Barcelona by Spanish outlet Sport(h/t Daily Star) and their front page was ‘operation Coutinho in progress’ as they claimed that the La Liga giants will go all out to sign the midfielder.

The reports also stated that Barca had already made contact with the player’s representatives and that the 24-year-old was ready to leave Anfield. They also claimed that if the Spanish giants were to secure the signing of Coutinho they would have to sell their player(s) to fund the raid.

However, this news did not go down well with the Liverpool fans as they burst out on Twitter about letting Coutinho leave the club. While some fans were worried about it, some of them took it lightly and reacted in a rather humorous way.

Philippe Coutinho has become an important part of the club ever since he moved to Anfield. He was on fire this season until an injury break stopped his rampaging progress. Though he has not managed to hit top form since returning from injury, Coutinho still remains a brilliant player on the pitch and can cause panic to the opponents even on his bad day.

The Liverpool faithful are well aware of this and this might precisely be why they were not interested in the club letting the player depart.
