£61m World Class Attacker Puts Liverpool On Red Alert As He Fancies To Play Under Klopp

Liverpool fans will be in dreamland after reports from Le Parisien claim that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fancies a move to Merseyside in the summer.

The report states that the Gabon international wants to team-up with Jurgen Klopp once again and Champions League football for the Reds is the reason why Aubameyang wants to reunite with his former manager.

The 28-year-old was signed by Klopp during his time at Borussia Dortmund and the Gabon star has certainly become one of the best strikers in the world.

Le Parisien further claims that the 28-year-old forward will cost us close to £61 million, which would easily break the transfer record for the club.

Aubameyang has been on fire since moving to Germany and scored 40 goals from just 46 games last season. In total, the Gabon striker has chipped in with 120 goals from 189 games for the Bundesliga side and many believe he is a perfect striker for our style of play.

The upheaval at Dortmund could also be a reason why the striker wants to leave as Thomas Tuchel was sacked despite leading them to the Champions League this season.

Should we actually sign Aubameyang, it would be a signal of intent from not only Klopp but FSG. Our owners have often been accused of being more interested in balancing the books than getting talented players in by paying record-breaking sums.

While they did break the bank in signing Sadio Mane from Southampton last season, that deal pales in comparison to the Aubameyang one. The Senegalese has become one of the best players in the Premier League but Aubameyang is world-class and will solve our problem of not having a top striker in the team.

Auba still has a few years left at the top, and his pace and finishing will make us a feared team for any side in Europe. We have seen many such instances take place where we were linked with big names but those deals never materialize.

Let’s hope Klopp can seal the deal and maybe, just maybe, we can dream of winning the title next season.
