Liverpool are set to bid goodbye to their longest serving player from the current squad as Lucas Leiva is all set to leave Anfield. Lazio from the Serie A have reportedly had a £5million offer accepted by us and that means the 30-year-old Brazilian will be playing in Italy next season.
Lucas was expected to leave the side in the winter window last season and with only 12 months left on his current contract, this is a better deal than losing him for free. However, the Brazilian was one of the most liked players in the team and always put club before himself as he played a number of games as a centre-back too.
