Liverpool will not remember the last match away from home against Bournemouth all too fondly. This was the exact moment last season where our campaign fell apart as we gave up a 3-1 lead at the Vitality to lose the match 4-3 in the final seconds.

Going into the game, we haven’t been in the best of form, having drawn our last two home games and maybe playing away from home will give us some sort of boost as the Cherries could look to attack our questionable defence, giving us a chance to hit them on the counter.

While the Cherries won’t have a lot of issues regarding their injured players, we should see Simon Mignolet return in place of Loris Karius. We won’t be seeing Emre Can as he is currently serving a suspension but we could see Adam Lallana make a return to the side, if not the starting XI.

The Reds did partake in their last training session before taking on Eddie Howe’s men and looked in a good mood even if it has been doom and gloom from many of the fans in the last week or so.

One of the sights to see was Danny Ings in smiles and maybe the former Burnley striker could get a few minutes under his belt in the game against the Cherries.

Sadio Mane looked ready to burn down the wings while Ben Woodburn also looked pleased with how things went in the training session, even if he hasn’t played for our first-team this season.

Adam Lallana, Simon Mignolet and Dominic Solanke could all get a start in the next game and we might have to deal with Mohamed Salah being on the bench as Klopp continues his rotation policy.

The dynamic Brazilian pairing of Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho look fit and ready to go as well and hopefully, things work out for us at the Vitality and we come out unscathed, with three points.

A Big Game Ahead

Bournemouth have not won any of their last 5 games while we are unbeaten in our last 8 games, with 5 wins and 3 draws. One of the more staggering stats is that Jurgen Klopp has made 65 changes to our starting XI this season, which is 23 more than any other manager in the Premier League.

Rather unsurprisingly, Klopp made just 54 changes in the entirety of last season and we should see a few more changes, since the German wants to keep our players fresh for the winter schedule. We still start as favourites in the game and hopefully, a win will help us close the gap on the top four and even help us end the matchday in the Champions League places.
