Salah to start, Wijnaldum in midfield – Predicted 4-3-3 Liverpool XI to face Stoke City

Predicted Liverpool Line-up To Face Stoke City In The Premier League

Liverpool will welcome Stoke City to Anfield this Saturday as the Reds look to continue their excellent form. Jurgen Klopp’s men recently put one foot into the Champions League final after a sensational 5-2 demolition of AS Roma in the first leg of the semi-final.

The attacking unit shone brightly once again and Roma simply could not handle it. With the next match set to be played against relegation-strugglers Stoke, Liverpool will be looking to snatch all 3 points to catch arch-rivals Manchester United who are 2nd in the table.

Probable Liverpool XI

Manager: Jurgen Klopp

Formation: 4-3-3

Loris Karius (GK)

Karius has effectively displaced Simon Mignolet as the No.1 and he is likely to retain his spot between the sticks for this one.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)

Alexander-Arnold has been a fierce presence for Liverpool at right-back and the youngster is likely to be deployed in his usual role.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Dejan Lovren (CB)

With Matip out of action, Lovren is likely to continue at the heart of the Liverpool defence against Stoke.

Virgil van Dijk (CB)

Van Dijk has injected some much-needed stability and solidity at the back and he is likely to partner Lovren this weekend.

Andy Robertson (LB)

Robertson has been an influential player for the Reds this season. Should find his name in the starting XI for this game.

Andrew Robertson

Jordan Henderson (DM)

Henderson’s calm and reassuring performances can help us dictate terms in the middle of the park and he is a sure starter against Stoke.

James Milner (CM)

Milner was at his best against Roma. He has set a record for the most number of assists in a single Champions League campaign and he is likely to hold on to his spot.

Georginio Wijnaldum (CM)

Wijnaldum played in Oxlade-Chamberlain’s absence against Roma and he is likely to start against Stoke this weekend.

Mohamed Salah

Sadio Mane (LW)

Mane has been unstoppable this season and he scored against Roma. He is quite likely to be deployed in his usual role against Stoke as well.

Mohamed Salah (RW)

The man of the moment, Mo Salah should find himself included in the starting XI for the weekend clash.

Roberto Firmino (ST)

As always, our Brazilian powerhouse Firmino is expected to lead the line against the Potters.
