Milner and Henderson in midfield – Strongest 4-3-3 Liverpool XI to face Real Madrid in Champions League final

Predicted Liverpool Line-up To Face Real Madrid In The Champions League

Liverpool face Spanish giants Real Madrid in a season-defining Champions League final this weekend. Beating Real Madrid in a tournament they have dominated in recent times will not be an easy task but our team has exceeded expectations this season and one must remain optimistic in such times.

Going into the game, we will be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain but besides him, there are no other major injury concerns for us.

Probable Liverpool XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Jurgen Klopp

Loris Karius (GK)

Karius has been our new No.1 in recent times and he is likely to retain his spot between the sticks against Los Blancos.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)

Alexander-Arnold has been a revelation for Liverpool at right-back and the youngster is likely to be deployed in his usual role. It will be a big test for him.

Virgil van Dijk (CB)

Van Dijk is Liverpool’s most solid defender and he will have his work cut out against the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Loris Karius

Dejan Lovren (CB)

Lovren has partnered well with van Dijk in recent times and he is likely to hold on to his spot in the starting XI.

Andy Robertson (LB)

One of Liverpool’s most consistent performers, Robertson’s ability should help him secure a start against Real Madrid.

Jordan Henderson (DM)

Henderson will be crucial for us in establishing control in the middle of the park and he will have to be at his best.

James Milner (CM)

Milner has recently emerged as a solid midfield option and he will have to fight hard against the likes of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

Georginio Wijnaldum (CM)

Wijnaldum is expected to retain his spot alongside Milner. The duo seems to work well together and the battle in the midfield will be crucial.

Mohamed Salah (RW)

Salah has been a sensational performer this season and to cap off a brilliant debut campaign, the Premier League Golden Boot winner will be looking to add to his tally of goals against one of the best sides in Europe.

Sadio Mane (LW)

Mane has been an unstoppable force on the left-wing and his aggression will certainly come in handy against a tough Real backline.

Roberto Firmino (ST)

As always, our Brazilian powerhouse Firmino is expected to lead the line against the defending champions this weekend.
