Liverpool have released the names of the 29 players who will travel for the pre-season tour of the US and it includes two of our biggest stars, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
The team has played four matches in the UK and now prepares for the International Champions Cup where we will face Borussia Dortmund followed by Manchester City and Manchester United. The matches will be held over a span of eight days, which begin on Sunday and end next Saturday.
Danny Ings will not be travelling to the US with the side as he looks to complete more training at the club, having missed several sessions due to an ankle injury.
One player who will join us for a part of the tour is Xherdan Shaqiri while Fabinho and Naby Keita
have already been doing the business for us, having impressed in the pre-season games.Alisson is the big name that probably won’t feature until we return to the country but he will be one player to look out for come the start of the season.
The three games will provide us with a better idea of how well our preparations have gone when compared to that of our rivals and a good US tour can be the catalyst for special things at Anfield. The Reds also named a number of young players who will certainly enjoy the experience.
