“Good banter game”: Some Liverpool fans go crazy as star Reds duo trolls teammate for comments during World Cup

Dejan Lovren returned to the Liverpool team for pre-season training and it seems that a couple of players will remind the defender of one of his famous bits from the World Cup.

) that he was one of the best defenders in the world as Croatia made the World Cup final.

While Croatia lost the final to France, Mohamed Salah was not going to let Lovren get away this easily. The Egyptian posted a video of the Croatian meeting up with the other players as Virgil van Dijk

shouts “The best defender in the world!”

Lovren reached the final of the World Cup and the Champions League but he fell at both the hurdles. The Croatian will expect to do better this season with the Reds but a number of fans shared their reactions

to the return of the player to Melwood.
