Keita gets a game but who should be dropped? Predicted Liverpool XI to face Southampton

Liverpool don’t have time to rest after their win over Paris Saint-Germain. The Reds have to prepare for a home clash against Southampton for the weekend as the games come thick and fast.

Jurgen Klopp’s side must look to keep their winning streak going but the Saints will not be easy opposition. However, playing at Anfield will give us a boost and we have most of the players fit for the clash.

Roberto Firmino came off the bench to score the winner against PSG and he should start against the south coast side.

Liverpool don’t have a lot of injury concerns and here is our predicted line-up for Saturday’s game.

Predicted Liverpool XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Jurgen Klopp

Alisson (GK)

Alisson made one great save in the win over PSG and our Brazilian star has to start against the Saints at Anfield.

Andy Robertson (LB)

The left-back has been brilliant this season and must look to continue his great work on Saturday as well.

Joe Gomez (CB)

Gomez has been one of the surprise packages this season and he should keep his spot in the team against Southampton.

Virgil van Dijk (CB)

Van Dijk is the leader at the back and there is no reason for us to drop him against the Saints.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)

Another player who has done well this season, Trent is our No.1 right-back and should play this weekend.

Georginio Wijnaldum (CM)

Wijnaldum has been incredible for us and he should keep his place against the Saints on Saturday.

James Milner (CM)

The Englishman has been playing out of his skin and it would be difficult to drop him based on current form.

Naby Keita (CM)

The one change Jurgen Klopp might make with regards to the midfield – Keita could get a game in place of Jordan Henderson, as we need some creativity from the heart of the park.

Mohamed Salah (RW)

Salah should just about keep his spot for this game. Should he fail to perform well, we might see him being omitted from the line-up in the next clash.

Roberto Firmino (ST)

The Brazilian came off the bench to save us against PSG and he must be riding high on that goal. Firmino has slowly gotten to his best and should start against the Saints.

Sadio Mane (LW)

The former Saint might want to score against his former employers and he is our leading scorer this season.
