In what comes as a sweet surprise to the Liverpool fans, on-loan Reds starlet Harry Wilson has won the Carabao Cup Player of the Round award.
The youngster scored a fantastic free-kick against Manchester United to inflict a painful defeat on the Red Devils. He is currently on loan at Derby County, managed by Frank Lampard, and the promising young starlet is enjoying a good spell at the club.
He has made 9 appearances in all competitions, scoring 2 goals and claiming an assist. Wilson had a very good game against Mourinho’s men in the Carabao Cup and scored his team’s first goal to equalise after Mata had given Mourinho’s men an early lead.
The game was incredible as it went all the way to the penalties, with Derby eventually winning the shootout 8-7. As the club’s official twitter handle shared the news, some fans went crazy on Twitter.
