“We would take Pulisic or Fekir” – Some Liverpool fans want winter signing as journalist shoots down interest in £85m star

James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo has claimed that the Reds are not interested in launching a bid for Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele in January.

Liverpool have been linked with a massive £85million

(h/t Liverpool Echo) deal for the French forward, however, the report claims that Jurgen Klopp is not willing to buy players in January as he believes the team can challenge on all fronts.

The French attacker joined the Catalan giants from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of £135million (h/t Liverpool Echo), but injuries have hurt his progress at Barcelona.

Pearce did believe that Klopp could spend in the winter window only if we are dealt with a number of injuries.

Liverpool are second in the Premier League and have a decent chance of making it out of their Champions League group too.

However, some fans were not happy with the report from Pearce and wanted the club to sign an attacking midfielder in the winter window.
