Liverpool are interested in 21-year-old Dutch winger Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld, according to the Daily Mail (h/t Express).
The youngster started his season well with Club Brugge and had four goals and four assists from 11 league games.
His impressive form even got him a call-up from Ronald Koeman for the senior Dutch side, but the attacker hasn’t played since October due to an ankle injury.
Groeneveld is expected to return in February, and the report claims that other Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old. Tottenham, Everton and Manchester City are tracking the Dutch starlet.
The report adds that AC Milan tried to sign the forward but saw their £9million offer for Groeneveld rejected in January.
The left-winger seems set for a bright future ahead and it will be interesting to see if we make a move for him in the winter window.
The Reds sold Dominic Solanke and loaned Nathaniel Clyne to Bournemouth, but we could do with some additions to our attack for the remainder of the campaign.
Groeneveld would not be a starter for us, but he could come good in some matches off the bench. The Reds don’t really have many senior wingers to cover Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, and would be in trouble should either of them pick up an injury.
