The Mirror reports that Liverpool star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could make a return to the team by March.

The Englishman injured knee ligaments in the Champions League semi-final against AS Roma last season and has been on the road to recovery since.

The former Arsenal midfielder has posted several clips of him working in the gym. He even posted an image of him training on the pitch. A recent video highlighted he was training in Dubai with the team.

The report adds that the Englishman is now training on grass and doing ball work. Jurgen Klopp is also confident that the midfielder will return to action before the end of the season, as per the report.

Sources within the club claim the midfielder is ahead of schedule. If things progress well, he could be back to full training by the middle of February (h/t Mirror).

This could open the door for the 25-year-old to feature in some games by March. The report adds that Liverpool will not push the youngster and will only play him if they are confident.

The Reds could do with the Englishman back in the side as he was one of the stars in our Champions League run to the final.
