Mohamed Salah is the leading scorer in the Premier League and is one of the best in the world. The Egyptian has been fantastic for Liverpool since signing from AS Roma and led us to the Champions League final last season.

This season we have seen a more pragmatic Liverpool as they sit top of the Premier League. The Reds have been knocked out of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, but feature in the Champions League knockout rounds.

Salah has scored 16 Premier League goals this season and is ahead of Harry Kane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Egyptian posted a cryptic tweet about 2019’s resolution during the mini-break in Dubai.

It is difficult to pinpoint what Salah is actually talking about since this season has gone well for club and country.

Egypt qualified for the African Cup of Nations in 2018 itself, and Salah has easily been our most prolific player in front of goal.

The forward has even played in a different position from last season. Jurgen Klopp has positioned him as our central striker in several games with Roberto Firmino playing behind the Egyptian.

The Reds required the break after a couple of tough games in recent weeks. They squeezed past Brighton 1-0 and survived a late onslaught by Crystal Palace at Anfield at the weekend.

The break could see Salah come back in even greater form, and hopefully, the “touch” he tweeted about leads to more goals and some glory for the Reds this season.
