Liverpool FC transfer news: Reds interested in Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi

Bild (h/t Mirror) reports that Liverpool will “reopen” a move for Callum Hudson-Odoi of Chelsea.

The 18-year-old has not started a Premier League game for Chelsea this season but has four goals and two assists in their Europa League campaign.

The report adds that Liverpool are interested in the English winger with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund keeping tabs on the 18-year-old.

Hudson-Odoi was subject to a £35million bid from Bayern in the winter window (h/t Mirror), however, the Blues weren’t willing to let go of their academy graduate this early in his career.

The report adds that the Englishman made no secret of his desire to play with the Bundesliga champions and Hudson-Odoi wants to follow in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho.

The former Manchester City star joined Borussia Dortmund and has taken the Bundesliga by storm this season.

Chelsea could face a big loss in the summer

The report adds that Chelsea do not want to lose their starlet as rumours suggest that Real Madrid want to sign Eden Hazard.

Zinedine is back at the helm of the Spanish giants and the club could move for the Belgian in the summer (h/t Mirror).

Liverpool could do with more options out wide, but it will be interesting to see if Chelsea are willing to do business with the Reds.

Hudson-Odoi has the potential to be a quality player, but he is far from being the finished article.

The Reds were able to convince Dominic Solanke to join from the Blues once his contract ended at Stamford Bridge.
