Latest Liverpool news: Hakim Ziyech scores a brilliant goal in 4-1 Ajax win

Ajax have one of the brightest and youngest teams in Europe and they showed their class once again as they thrashed Willem II 4-1 away.

Frenkie de Jong, Matthijs de Ligt, David Neres and Hakim Ziyech are some of the stars doing well this season and Ziyech has been linked

The 26-year-old has 17 goals and 10 assists in all competitions for the Dutch giants and scored a brilliant fourth goal in the win over Willem II.

Ajax were already leading 3-1 at that stage, and his effort was possibly the best goal of the bunch. The Moroccan has been in great form recently and has been involved in seven goals in his last nine games.

Ajax are in a heated battle with PSV Eindhoven and lead the table by one point, having played a game more.

Versatile player who could do a job for Liverpool

Ziyech might not be the youngest player out there but the Moroccan can play anywhere in the attack.

The 26-year-old has played a few games as a midfielder and that should give Jurgen Klopp ample scope to play him in this current Liverpool side.

The Reds have a wonderful first XI but need some quality wingers to provide competition for the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
