Luka Jovic has been one of the stars in the Bundesliga this season. The Serbian joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Benfica but has been sensational in front of goal.
The 21-year-old forward has scored 25 goals in all competitions for the Germans and has six assists to his name as well.
Jovic has helped Frankfurt to the semi-finals of the Europa League where they face Chelsea, and the club lies fourth in the Bundesliga.
The Mirror claims that Jovic could leave the club in the summer with Real Madrid and Liverpool interested in the 21-year-old.
The club’s sporting director, Fredi Bobic, wants to keep hold of Jovic, but is open to him leaving to a big side like Madrid (h/t Mirror
):“My desire is for him to remain at Eintracht.
“But I am realistic – if a club like Madrid comes in for him, we do not have a chance of keeping him.”
The Mirror adds that Everton and West Ham United are also keeping an eye on the Serbian, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the striker.
The 21-year-old still has time to improve his game, however, he needs to continue playing regular football.
That would be difficult to achieve at both Liverpool and Real Madrid given the plethora of talent the clubs have.
The Reds could do with more attacking options in the summer as Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino need competition and cover.
