Latest Liverpool news: Jurgen Klopp dismisses rumours of bust-up with Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah has been one of the stars at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp. The Egyptian won the Golden Boot last season and is leading the race for the title once again.

However, reports (h/t Express) earlier in the month suggested that Klopp had a fall out with the Egyptian forward after the 2-0 win over Chelsea.

Salah had scored a wonder goal in that win, and AS (h/t Express) claimed the forward wanted a move away from Anfield after the bust-up.

The Egyptian’s agent claimed the news was rubbish from AS (h/t Express). Klopp spoke to the BBC and claimed there was no problem with Salah after the 5-0 win over Huddersfield and provided an update on Roberto Firmino too (h/t Express):

“I always tell you don’t believe three per cent of what you hear on social media.

“I had no argument with Mo especially after the Chelsea game and Roberto Firmino is not out for the season.”

Salah hitting form at the right time

The Egyptian went through a barren spell in 2019 but is banging the goals in now. The former AS Roma forward has four goals and two assists in his last four games.

The 26-year-old leads the Premier League scoring charts and is one ahead of Sadio Mane, who also scored twice in the 5-0 win over Huddersfield.

Salah is enjoying his football again and he will be important to our chances of returning from the Nou Camp with a positive result.

Barcelona wrapped up the La Liga title this weekend and even rested some of their stars in the win over Levante.
