Trent Alexander-Arnold created a Premier League record after the 2-0 win over Wolves on the final day of the domestic campaign.
The Englishman helped Sadio Mane score a brace in the win, but that was not enough to overtake Manchester City at the top of the table.
Nevertheless, it has been an incredible season for Trent and the rest of the Liverpool players. Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane picked up the Golden Boot award alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Alisson also won the Golden Glove for most clean sheets while Virgil van Dijk was named as the player of the season.
The Premier League website confirmed Trent picked up 12 assists in the Premier League campaign, which is the most by a defender in the history of the competition.
Trent wasn’t the only player racking up the assists from the full-back position as Andy Robertson finished the Premier League campaign with 11 assists to his name.
Alexander-Arnold has been fantastic for us this season and was one of the stars in the 4-0 win over Barcelona in midweek.
The Scot has been excellent for the Reds too, and we need our full-backs to be at their best for the Champions League final.
Liverpool face Tottenham in Madrid in the final and hopefully, we can end the season on a high with the Champions League trophy returning to Anfield.
