Liverpool FC transfer news: Spanish reports claim Coutinho has ruled out a move to Liverpool

Le10 Sport (h/t Liverpool Echo) had reported that Jurgen Klopp is considering making a move for Philippe Coutinho.

The Brazilian left Liverpool to join Barcelona 18 months ago and has struggled to make a consistent impact at the club.

The report claims that the 27-year-old only scored five goals and provided a couple of assists in the La Liga campaign last season, but has done better in the Copa America.

The former Liverpool star has two goals and an assist from three games, but the latest reports from Mundo Deportivo (h/t Liverpool Echo) claims that Coutinho is not looking at a move to Liverpool.

The Spanish report claim that sources close to Coutinho have said that any reports of the attacker returning to Liverpool are untrue.

The report adds that the 27-year-old has received offers from three clubs – Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Coutinho’s saga will continue for the entire summer, and it will be interesting to see what happens with the Brazilian before the season starts.
