Paul Gorst of the Liverpool Echo claimed that the Reds are not interested in left-back Junior Firpo.
The 22-year-old Spaniard is currently with the U21 side for the Euros, and Marca (h/t Liverpool Echo
) claimed that Liverpool wanted to trigger the €50million clause in his contract.The report added that the Reds were not put off by the fee and Manchester United were
also interested in the 22-year-old.The Reds are in need of cover for Andy Robertson after Alberto Moreno left in the summer. James Milner and Joe Gomez can play in that position, but getting a quality full-back has to be a priority for Jurgen Klopp.
The report claims that Firpo is not on our radar and the Betis star has not been discussed by Michael Edwards or Klopp.
