The Mirror reports that Jordan Henderson has gotten inked to remind himself of the Champions League final win.
Liverpool defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the final and lifted their sixth Champions League trophy.
Henderson captained the side to the incredible win, and this was also Jurgen Klopp’s first trophy at the club.
The 29-year-old midfielder was enjoying a break and visited celebrity tattoo artist Tommy Montoya, according to the report.
Montoya shared a photo of himself with Henderson, with the Liverpool captain having a bandage around his thigh.
Beside that snap was the tattoo of the Champions League trophy and the date of the final.
The English midfielder has struggled at times since his move from Sunderland, but last season was possibly his best as he came alive in the second half of the campaign.
Henderson only scored one goal, but it was an important one against Southampton in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old also did a great job in an advanced role under Klopp, and it will be interesting to see if he plays further forward next season too.
Liverpool have improved each season under the German manager, and hopefully, we can finally land the Premier League title soon.
