Dinamo Zagreb’s Dani Olmo has been linked with several Premier League clubs recently, according to Mundo Deportivo (h/t Mirror).
The report claims that Liverpool have been linked with the 21-year-old, while Manchester United and Tottenham are also interested in the Spaniard.
Olmo had a great U21 Euros with the Spanish team as they went on to win the trophy. The report adds that AC Milan, Bayern Munich and several La Liga clubs are interested in a £36m
move for the attacker. However, the report claims that a return to Spain is unlikely for the former Barcelona youngster, while United face a tough task of convincing him to join due to a lack of Champions League football.
Olmo provided an update on his future recently, and told Sport (h/t Mirror) that he will sit with his agents soon:
“I arrived home after a short break and I still haven’t spoken to my agents or my father. I’m expected back at Dinamo next week so we’ll see what happens.”
The attacker added that he doesn’t know about the truth of several rumours but he was not ruling out a move away from Zagreb:
“I’m not ruling out any team. Out of respect to everyone who is interested in me, I’m not going to say anything. You have to respect them all.”
The Spaniard added that he was looking at first-team football, similar to what Zagreb is offering him.
The Reds haven’t made sweeping moves like last season, and the only signing we have done is that of Sepp van den Berg.
The Dutch defender is 17 and has tons of potential to become a quality defender.
The youngster has already taken part in training sessions, and it is to be seen when he gets to play for us in pre-season.
