FIFA 20 is out in a couple of weeks and Liverpool have tied up with EA Sports after ending their partnership with Konami.
The Reds have been linked with PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) for several years but this is a major shift for Jurgen Klopp’s team.
With the game so close to being out, EA have held a few fun drills for several teams.
Four Liverpool
players tried out their skills in a free-kick test, and it was a surprise to see who cam out on top.Xherdan Shaqiri, Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez lined up to take five free-kicks and had to hit five zones.
Trent or Shaqiri should have come out on top, but it was the Liverpool centre-back who scored five out of five, leaving his mates stunned.
Alexander-Arnold could not believe what he saw and no other Liverpool player managed to score more than three.
Virgil van Dijk also jumped into the drill and scored one from his two tries before leaving the rest of the players to try out their luck.
Gomez isn’t on free-kick duty and hasn’t featured regularly for the team this season, but his ability on the dead-ball should see him take more pops at goal.
Trent, Mohamed Salah and James Milner have taken up free-kick duty under Jurgen Klopp, but many fans believed it is time for that to change.
