The Liverpool Echo claims that the Reds have been linked with Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz in recent months.
The 20-year-old has become one of the best in the Bundesliga and is already a regular for the German national team.
The German already has a goal from three games in the Bundesliga this season and scored 17 times in the competition last season.
Havertz is capable of playing out wide or as a central attacking midfielder and would be a quality addition to any team in the world.
However, Bild (h/t Liverpool Echo) claims that Liverpool aren’t interested in the 20-year-old.
There are three big clubs interested in the Leverkusen star and Havertz will choose between Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, according to the report.
The German could play for any side in the world and he has the potential to improve even further at the right club.
Havertz needs to make the right move to continue his development, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
Liverpool didn’t make any big-name signings in the summer and brought in a couple of young players with tons of potential.
Havertz fits into that scheme very well, and it will be interesting to see who we move for next summer.
