Jurgen Klopp reveals reason behind his close relationship with Liverpool players
According to a report by Daily Express, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed the reason behind his close relationship with the current squad.
The German gaffer, who guided us to a Champions League victory and a Club World Cup triumph in the same year, has overseen a drastic revamping at Anfield since being appointed as the manager.
He took his time and now, Liverpool are reaping the fruits of his labour. We have a solid team that’s easily one of the best in Europe and our 25-point lead in the Premier League has placed us as favourites to win the much-elusive title.
However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, footballing action has been suspended for the time being. It remains to be seen how things fare in the near future but with a passionate boss like Klopp at the helm, anything can be possible.
Daily Express reports that Klopp always shows an interest in getting to know his players better and keeps them in the loop as far as his life is concerned. Indeed, there is a sense of bonding and closeness in this Liverpool team that is rare to find in such competitive times.
Speaking on JD’s In The Duffle Bag podcast, Klopp iterated the need for managers to be close to their players and get to know them on a real level instead of just pretending to feign interest.
