Liverpool have been linked with a move for Fiorentina’s young wonderkid Dusan Vlahovic this summer.
The 21-year-old bagged 21 goals in 37 appearances for Fiorentina last season, garnering interest in him from across the continent. One of them is Liverpool who are keen to add strength in depth. (h/t Transfermarkt)
Perhaps to illustrate the point, Vlahovic showed off his clinical side in La Viola’s
pre-season friendly against Italian fourth-tier side Foligno last Tuesday. He scored seven goals in a single half as the Serie A side won 11-0.This was enough to convince fans on social media who are seemingly sold on the player. A number of them took to social media urging the club to land the Serbian this summer. The likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson will definitely take their assist tally to a different level should Vlahovic join the red revolution.
He will, however, not come cheap and will set us back €50m-€60m. Whether the performance is enough to convince the Reds to make their move remains to be seen.
