Several Liverpool players have already secured a spot at Qatar’s table for next winter following the most recent series of international games. The Reds players who might participate in the Qatar World Cup in 2022 are listed below.

The Reds duo is a part of the main cog of Tite’s Brazil that has helped them to dominate the WC qualifying in South America. The two of them have been quite crucial for their success and are in line to be regulars in this year’s WC. Brazil are current favorites amongst the bookies, with pricing them at 5/1 to win this year’s tournament.

Van Dijk is set to experience his first major international tournament in Qatar after finishing top in the table on the final matchday. His side beat Norway 2-0 in a crucial fixture that could have seen them lose out on the WC if they had lost the game.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson (England):

Alexander-Arnold and Henderson have firmly placed themselves into Gareth Southgate’s plans despite being dealt with heavy competition. Even though England finished top of their table and scored the most goals in Europe’s qualifying, they will be expected to instill some creative sparks that the team lacked in their displays.

Mane’s Senegal secured their spot in the WC at the cost of his Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah who was beaten in the play-off final. Senegal followed up their impressive campaign in the AFCON with this berth as they look to enjoy a great spell this November.

Takumi Minamino (Japan):

While Minamino is not a regular under Jurgen Klopp, he remains to be in contention for the starting spot in his national team. Japan missed out on the top spot of their group as they could only muster a 1-1 draw against Vietnam on the final matchday.

Diogo Jota (Portugal):

Fernando Santos has regularly depended on Jota to provide balance to his attack when called upon. However, despite the vast amount of talent in hand, Portugal had to go through the play-offs to register themselves for the WC that will take place later this year.
