Liverpool hero believes the club is not yet done with their summer transfer business

Jose Enrique feels Liverpool will sign more players this summer

Jose Enrique took to Twitter to comment on the outgoings from Liverpool this summer. The Spaniard also believes the Reds will sign someone before the end of the transfer window.

Enrique, who played for the Merseysiders between 2011 and 2016, is of the opinion that Liverpool’s assistant sporting director Julian Ward has done a “great job” with respect to departures so far.

The Reds have signed Darwin Nunez, Calvin Ramsay and Fabio Carvalho this summer. Word coming out of the Liverpool camp is that they are unlikely

to bring in more players this window.

While we have been linked with players, it doesn’t seem LFC are interested in making any signings happen. The only player the Reds seem highly interested in is Jude Bellingham. But there appears to be no plan to buy the 19-year-old this summer.

We have enough depth

This window’s outgoings include the Likes of Sadio Mane, Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino. They all played a part in Liverpool’s quest for the quadruple.

Our Senegalese start will be missed. LFC have signed Nunez, who’ll take his place in the squad. Carvalho has come in as well. Fans can see him taking Minamino’s place on the side.

Divock Origi didn’t feature much last season. While the Belgian had his moments, we’ve got enough attacking options in the side.

Ramsay comes in as a backup for Trent Alexander-Arnold as Neco Williams departs. Ben Davies also leaves the club, although he never really featured for the side.

More Liverpool News

The Reds have a strong squad going into next season. The only worry fans will have is whether the midfield has enough legs. Also, we’ve experienced what injuries to a few star players at once can do.

We’ve also successfully tied Mohamed Salah down to a new contract. Joe Gomez

also stays on. While the future of some other players is uncertain. Liverpool have the numbers to challenge for titles next season.
