Liverpool target deemed ‘untouchable’ by Bundesliga giants

Borussia Dortmund consider Liverpool target Jude Bellingham ‘untouchable’

Liverpool started initial contacts for Jude Bellingham a few weeks ago, but Borussia Dortmund considers him ‘untouchable’, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Youtube.

The Reds have made calls to people close to the 19-year-old as well as the Bundesliga giants. But a potential move this summer has been shot down by Dortmund.

The five-time Bundesliga winners have said ‘no’ to any move for the player this summer. Top clubs from around Europe are circling for the signature of the England international.

After losing Erling Halaand to Manchester City this summer, the thought of selling Bellingham is close to being termed unthinkable. But the Germans know they can’t hold for long though. Next summer, there will likely be a “crazy race” for the 19-year-old.

Bellingham is already a superstar

Bellingham is certainly one of the best young prospects in world football. At such a tender age, the Englishman has already established himself in the Dortmund midfield, which is one of the best in the world.

The 19-year-old is also a full England international. While Gareth Southgate has opted chiefly for Kalvin Phillips and Declan Rice in his XI, Bellingham is a regular in the squad.

The Reds have some quality players in the middle of the park. Thiago Alcantara is one of the best passers of the ball. The 31-year-old controls the tempo of the game.

Fabinho is the pivot that ensures opposition threats are stopped in their tracks before they do any damage. Jordan Henderson is the leader in the middle, helping out at both ends of the pitch. However, he is not getting any younger and will need to be replaced sooner or later.

If we end up getting Bellingham over the other top clubs, it’ll be a major coup on our part. We have other youngsters like Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones and Fabio Carvalho break into Klopp’s future XI.
