Liverpool FC will finally overtake Manchester United off the pitch.

Liverpool’s domestic success last season is a major contribution to the boost in revenue. Winning two domestic cups, a strong league campaign finish and an extremely strong finish in the UEFA Champions League, emerging second only to Real Madrid. The European competition alone contributes figures of around £100m to the club’s treasury.

Liverpool will surpass Manchester United’s prediction of £581m, placing the Reds £21m ahead in accordance with the reports. League winners Manchester City will see revenues of around £610m, but their pre-tax profit shall be less than that of Liverpool; around £16m. Additionally, Liverpool’s new commercial deals have added to the figures as well.
