Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko on the radar of Liverpool, Juventus and Real Madrid
If someone said Liverpool and Real Madrid show interest in a Borussia Dortmund player, one would not think twice before saying, Jude Bellingham. Youssoufa Moukoko has been scoring goals left right and centre and has caught the attention of Europe’s elite.
The teenage sensation broke through Dortmund’s first team last season and is creating a name for himself this year. In 12 appearances this season, the 17-year-old has six goals and four assists in the Bundesliga alone.
As per SPORT (h/t Liverpool Echo), Liverpool, Real Madrid and Juventus, all are sniffing at the opportunity on getting Moukoko for free in the summer of 2023, when his contract at Dortmund expires (transfermarkt).
Los Blancos‘ second nature is to keep an eye on Liverpool’s targets in recent years. However, Juventus’ interest is more or less justified. The German’s ability to play on the right wing is something the Old Lady of Italy would fancy.
Angel di Maria currently plays the position with Dusan Vlahovic in the attack. A young strike partnership might be something Massimiliano Allegri might be targeting, but knowing his style of football, he would want the German to play out wide in case he makes the move to Turin.
As far as Liverpool are concerned, the Reds have enough depth in attack, but with two of the Merseysiders’ forward mainstays in Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah both breaching the 30-year-old mark, the Reds could with a bit of a back-up and hopefully ease on the transition.
There is no news of a new contract for Moukoko, and in case he decides to make the switch, Liverpool could go all systems for the teenager. Adding him to the roster will certainly future-proof Jurgen Klopp’s attacking options.

One could argue that an attacker is not among the immediate needs for Liverpool at the moment and that truly makes sense as well. Any move for a midfielder at this point in time would be wise from the Reds. However, depth in any department would not hurt.
