Liverpool are set to intensify their interest in Moroccan star Sofyan Amrabat

According to Moroccan news outlet Lions de L’Atlas (h/t the Mirror), it is being claimed that the Reds have made a head start on Morocco and Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, who is earning rave reviews for his performances at the FIFA World Cup.

Amrabat was one of the shining lights of the World Cup and rocked the tournament with his electric performances from the midfield.

Signing the Moroccan midfielder would also provide the much-needed competition for the holding midfielder place, which is currently only occupied by Fabinho.
